Where (the hell) are the United Nations??
- Robert E.

Where (the hell) is the United Nations?? President Obama is "rounding up" an alliance of mainly European nations to try to stop the evil that is the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS). Surely, given all the experience of especially the last century, it is the United Nations that should taking this lead. Are not all nations shaken to the core by what is happening (yet again) to innocent men women and children??? Know history is riddled with this unspeakable behaviour, from Genghis Khan; the settler slaughters in America (how ironic!) and Australia; Hitler and the Nazis, Vietman: and so many more. A world united force (under the UN flag surely) including China, India, Indonesia (look what ISIS is doing to the religion of the biggest Muslim democracy in the world!!); and so on, is what is needed. Yes, members technologically capable of defeating ISIS, go ahead and help in that way, but it is the humanitarian message delivered by a united world that is needed. President Obama and his alliance make each participant a target. If the "world" lead the attack, how much stronger the message and its effect would be.
United we stand! So please, United Nations, do you duty and UNITE.
