Dear Barak Obama,
Hello. I am a 10 year old girl in California. My name is Rojda Nezhadian and I am a Kurd. My father, Hiwa Nezhadian, has been to Washington the White House to talk with a State Department Official about how the Kurds need help.
My family has told me about Kobani in Kurdistan. ISIS killing and destroying our nation and I need to ask you a very important favor. Please help them. My mom has showed me a few pictures about this terrible war. This depicts that ISIS is killing innocent children and adults. The USA is known as a good and peaceful place that everyone wishes to come, and maybe the kind and peaceful USA could help a country in trouble. I saw a picture of a person that’s part of ISIS, and is happy to kill the people of Kobani.
My greatest wish is for a country to help. If ISIS gets and kills all the Kurds, we might be gone forever. Like we are animals getting killed for fun, and then getting extinct. What if this war spreads and ISIS comes to the US? This situation must be solved soon. I know one child can’t make a big difference in the world, but what if many people can sign this paper and we can all change the world? What if this country could help another country in need? My dad is at Westwood, California with his friends and my grandpa in the streets to hold up signs yelling, “Help Kobani!” and stuff like that. It’s like people want Kurdistan to be gone?!!! Please help rebuild Kobani. Please respond immediately. I am waiting for an answer.
Rojda Nezhadian. 6:12 PM
