Let's fix the US firtst

I want to register my strong opposition to several things in which this nation is currently involved. First is the apparent leadership role the presidency has assumed in challenging the evolving situation is eastern Europe. We have problems of our own here in the United States which are in need of attention--poverty, unemployment, discrimination, economic challenges.
Secondly, we have spent billions of dollars interjecting ourselves into the politics of Afghanistan, including the erection of an essentially unusable electric plant. There is a troop withdrawal scheduled but no end in sight to the flow of money that is being diverted from our economy toward this region. We need to fix the US first!!
