I'm so disappointed in the lack of support given to our president

I've seen so much in the news and else where recently that is so disheartening... I've grieved over the lack of support you have as our president. It's strange, being THE president of the United States used to be something! I don't understand the mentality of our nation right now. You are our elected president of the United States of America... You're treated like a mistrusted felon from the wrong side of the tracks! I love my country and believe republican or democrat as a voter I am to support my president in any way I can. I'm praying for you and your family, you still have a giant mountain to climb, I'm with you in heart and prayers.
I posted this earlier to my FB account after reading yet another slanderous post about you , our president. (I'd NEVER want your job!)

I may be out of line, I don't often speak out politically... But I have been so disappointed at the lack of respect our president has been given. I was raised to believe that our votes were legal and democratic. I started my life as a voter republican. Republicans were not always voted as president. If my country as a whole voted in a president- democrat or republican, he was my president. When they sing our nations song I still tear up, I'm proud of our country. I'm so very disappointed in our congress and a majority of the people for not supporting our head elected official. How could he possibly succeed? Who isn't against the president of the United States? Our president? It's shameful . I wish we would as a people, as Americans remember our president, democrat or republican is indeed our elected president. That's our law in effect. We are called to support our president if he is ever to be successful. "A house divided against itself cannot stand." A nation that doesn't support and respect it's leader is lost.
