Hello President Obama,
I first want to say that I think that you are doing an excellent job and that you have done things for the people that no one has ever done before. In spite of the negative things that they try to say about you, I truly know that you are for the people and annointed by God. It is hard for me to understand as a long term unemployed person, who by the way, would love to be working!! Why are we being treated wth no regard, NO UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS, like we have never worked in our entire life and just looking for a hand out. I am not just speaking for myself but for everyone who is unemployed living from day to day, not knowing how we are going to make it, facing eviction and utter depression. I am currently enrolled in the WIA program that you created sometime ago and sometimes I do not even know if I am going to have enough gas to get school to get a better job. Your fellow Americans are suffering out here, including myself!!! Is this the American Way? I feel like I am doing everything that I can and I do not understand why the unemployment extension bill has not been dealt with a long time ago. I am not lazy and honestly love to work, but where are the jobs? The UNEMPLOYMENT EXTENSION BILL NEEDS TO PASS, EVERYDAY I SEE PEOPLE GETTING EVICTED, AT THE PANTRIES RIGHT ALONG WITH ME, TO BE ABLE TO GET UNEMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE WOULD AT LEAST ALLOW US TO KEEP A ROOF OVER OUR HEADS AND GAS TO BE ABLE TO GET TO AN INTERVIEW.

Thank you for taking the time to read this message.
With peace and blessings to you and your family,
your greatest fan--Rosalind Small

I personally understand your frustrations with our economy. I am also unemployed. I filed for Unemployment benefits like 2 months ago. I keep receiving claim forms from the EDD. I send them back correctly filled out, and on the day they tell me to send it. I have registered at And have done everything they have asked of me. Here is the problem. I haven't receive 1 check. That equals $ 0 money for me. So in reality Me and my family should be dead. Because unfortunately the grocery store will not give us food unless we pay for it. How do you buy groceries with no money? Does anyone know? John Bubello John B.
