Dear President Trump,
My daughter Jacqueline Samy is a graduate from Duke University. She is now pursuing an MA at the Courtauld Institute, London. She is a graduate in History of Art. MR President I urge you to look into the issue of H1B visas and it’s unfair distribution. My daughter is brilliant in what she does. She went to school in the UK at Cheltenham Ladies College.
I feel that the way these visas are distributed whereby Indian Technology companies monopolise and flood the market is unfair. My husband and I live in Malaysia . My husband is a gynaecologist and I graduated in Law. We have made our home here and are Malaysisns by birth. We have sent our children overseas to study because we want the best for them. My son is a junior doctor in the UK.
Jacqueline would love to get work experience at Art Galleries or Museums in the US but I feel the odds are stacked against her because of the limited visas given out and which are monopolised by tech companies. There should be a more fair system of distribution of these visas. I urge you to look into this and not be unduly pressured by certain quarters in other countries
Thank you Mr President.
