Dear PRESIDENT OBAMA:
I add my voice to many others that are asking you to grant an Executive Pardon to the longest prisoner in an American Jail, Oscar Lopez, an American who was born in Puerto Rico. My motivation is humanitarian and not based in a political view. I was very sad when I read in the News that the President of Uruguay asked for the release of prisoners from Guantanamo, that has been granted, but the release of Oscar Lopez has been ignored even when been jailed for more than 33 years and reached his seventy years of age..
Consider this letter my visit to Mr. Lopez at jail. Our Lord ask us believers to feel the pain of those who lost their freedom, regardless of the fact if they are guilty or innocents. I ask the Lord also for the opportunity of meeting Mr. Lopez and share with him the love of God in Jesus for the salvation of all mankind.
Mr. President I do this effort because you inspire me and because during your Presidency you have strive for justice. Give Mr. Lopez's Daughter a Christmas Present: release her Dad.
God bless you and your beautiful Family.
Merry Christmas My President.
My phone number is (678)464-6196
