My name is Marianne McCormack Schembri, Mother of 2 Children who are aged 19 years old and 10 years old, residing in Brisbane. First and foremost welcome to Brisbane and I pray that your journey to Brisbane was pleasant?
President I would like to mention that we are completely supportive of all your causes and we as a Family admire your incredible work and you personally. Speaking frankly President, my Daughter, Son and myself would absolutely love to be citizens of United States and are trying to save. My 10 year old Son has seen you on television often and every time he see's you smiling, he is smiling back at you. My Daughter and I listen intently when we see you on television as well.
Many years ago my Father's Paternal Uncle moved to Michigan, United States and instead of my Father moving with him to United States, my Father moved to Australia. My Great Uncle and my Father were originally from Malta. My Mother's family were from Ireland and my Great, Great Grandmother's Sister moved to United States, whilst my Great, Great Grandmother arrived in Australia. My Childhood years and now my Children's Childhood years were and are spent wishing we could be citizen's of United States.
I have viewed the immigration information and I am unaware of how to go about applying for citizenship and if we stand a chance of permanent residency. My Daughter and I are prepared to work hard and contribute in every way possible. We really love United States and President I pray you may be able to shed some light for us?
I am aware that you are extremely busy and I pray that I have not disturbed you with this long letter? I hope dear President that you may be able to enlighten me with further information.
Have a wonderful week in Brisbane President Obama and we look forward to hearing from you on television as the G20 unfolds.
Marianne McCormack Schembri
