Emergency Unemployment Benefits
- Cookie G.
- Sunday, 31 August 2014
Dear President Barack Obama,
I am writing to ask if you could sign the paperwork to extend benefits for those of us who have exhausted our unemployment. I have worked since I was 15 years old and collected unemployment three times and always had benefits remaining at the time I found a new job. I am 58 years old and trying to support myself, however my benefits like many others are gone.
I had an interview this past Tuesday on August 26, 2014 but no response from them. I would like a job but until I find one rent, lights, car notes still have to be paid. I know you have the power to help.
