Please stop the monkey trade - Stop experiments on monkeys

Dear Mr. President Obama,
tens of millions of animals suffer and die in research labs each year in useless experiments. This contradicts the animal welfare act as the experiments are scientifically unjustifiable because they have no relevance to human health concerns. A shift away from outdated animal models toward modern, human-focused research methods is urgently needed.
I kindly request that the entire $ 10,4 billion given to the National Institutes of Health for useless and cruel animal experimentation be directed exclusively toward the funding of non-animal research methods.
