Dear Mr President
Little background started life in military aftrr 3 years of duty went into trucking industry for 30 plus years. This industry has changed unfortunately not for the good all the time. Deregulation was another peice of regulation that destroyed it.When through that and 2 shutdowns.
Unless the company's are held responsible for the inexperienced unqualified drivers they are putting on the road the safety of our love ones are in jeopardy. There are drives that have to call dispatch at the shippers to translate so they know to go to spot 3. The federal regs clearly state one must be able to comuacated in English how can they fill out an aplacation. Training company's are selling Joe Amercia dream a truck he will never own and then once in trouble talking him into training that way double income. This guy is training while sleeping do your college professor sleep while you were in class. Is all money not safety. When from 10 hour days to 11 for safety nothing to do will the big company's had terminals set 10 hours apart and fuel got high so cut truck speed back and they couldn't make it to destination. 14 hour rule is killing people I get to Chicago I can take nap wait traffic out they go through. Bill Graves is also a pos he has been the ruination of the industry just chases money. I don't know much about politics but lots about trucking. Thank You for you time proud to have you as Commander and Chief. Mike Kile 333 West Helen Street Bladen NE 68928. If there a advisory position available in would like to apply
