Dear Mr. President,
I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to write this message to you. Hope you and your family are well.
My Dad, John Henry Robinson Sr. is a WWII Veteran, he recently got his benefits. He will be 94 yrs. old on June 29, and is one of the only African Americans to still be with us, Praise God!
Can you imagine how we felt going to the voting booth together and helping to elect our first African American President. My Dad cried.
I know that you are a busy man, but if there is any way possible, I would like to arrange for him to meet you. He has had prostate Cancer for the last 12-15 yrs. Although he lives alone and still drives.
As you can tell, I love my Dad very much and a Birthday gift such as this would not only make his day but mine as well.
He is crazy about you.
If there is anything you could do to make what may be his last birthday memorable, we would both be grateful.
May God Bless you and your family and God Bless The United States of America.
I pray for you daily.
Mrs. Lillian Gerrick
