Our country, South Africa is in trouble

Dear Barack Obama
I'm writing you this email as I feel that my voice will not be heard by my own government.
I'm sure that you may of heard that our country is yet again going through a electricity crisis! Our homes and business are being forced into darkness, families are struggling to run their households and our economy is taking a turn for the worst because of it.
Mr Obama I am only reaching out to you for help because I feel that we as the average South African citizen we have no power or say in anything that happens in this country. Eskom, the only power supplier in the country has South Africa held firmly in its clutches. No matter how many times we complain, strike or voice our concerns we seem to be ignored and bullied into accepting the mistakes made by our government. We are fed nothing but excuses and empty promises, resources and funds are being wasted and the poor people are the ones you feel the effects. We are feeling powerless and helpless.
I know I'm not only speak for myself when I say that I am tired of South Africa being labeled as 3rd world country! Its about time we raise up and become the country we deserve to be. And we can only do that with the help of Yourself and your country, we need the influence of a country that has made its way to the top.
I know that this may not be a priority to you Mr Obama but I ask if there is anything you can do to help us that you please do so, our country need to be run better and the people of South Africa need to be looked after! And it saddens me that I think this, but I honestly feel our government fails to do that.
I hope to her from you soon. And its such a honor to be writing to you.
